Hello, I am Kenneth McGee of Mastermix Audio Media. I have been providing audio engineering and production services for 25+ years. I work primarily in the Tri-State(NJ/NY/PA) area doing studio and live(FOH/Monitor) engineering, TV, Post, ENG and EFP audio, designing MIDI and audio systems, and designing project studios. I am based in Asbury Park, New Jersey, on the Jersey Shore.
Additionally, I am a 20+ year Professional Staff Association member at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey, where I supervise the daily operations of a multitrack audio recording facility on the campus. There I perform a variety of in-house production work, from educational series to audio-for-video post to satellite uplinking, and much more. My colleagues and I have also implemented and manage distance education applications utilizing Broadband Cable delivery, ISDN, MPEG codecs over IP, and Fiber Optic Interactive TV transmission(IDLS). Our experience has been invaluable in the design and construction of a network of Interactive Television(ITV) classrooms and videoconferencing suites utilizing these technologies at the Lincroft main campus, the Long Branch, Eastern Monmouth(Neptune), and Northern Monmouth(Hazlet) satellite campuses, the New Jersey Coastal Communiversity in Wall Township, and the Western Monmouth Higher Education Center in Freehold which is part of a partnership with Rutgers University. The systems have been used to teach a variety of courses in subjects as diverse as Medical Terminology, Economics, Psychology, Contract Law, and Speech. We also use these facilities in conjunction with other educational institutions, a few being Stevens Institute of Technology, Kean University, and Fairleigh Dickinson University.
I have had a love of audio and all things technical from a very early age. That love continues to this day.
